Uniden DXI-3286-2 2.4 GHz Analog Cordless Phone with Dual Handsets and Caller ID
Caller ID and call waiting compatible, up to 30 caller ID numbers are stored in the internal memory, each with a time/date stamp. The Ni-CD battery provides up to seven hours of talk time and up to 14 days of standby. The handset-to-handset transfer feature allows users to forward calls to the other phone. A voicemail waiting indicator lets you know when you have received new calls (subscription to a fee-based service is required), and the page button on the base makes finding a lost handset quick and painless. The DXI-3286-2 also comes backed with a one-year parts and labor warranty.
Customer Review: Excellent Phones!
Here's a great deal for under fifty bucks. These phones feel great on your ear, and sound exactly like corded phones. Their small size lets them fit in nicely anywhere and the base unit mounts easily to the wall. There's a volume control that lets you turn the things up to 11, really loud if you want it. Not sure why the other reviewer on this list mentioned static -- I didn't notice that at all, and we have lots of wireless devices around here including another cordless phone and two WiFi computers. There are good reasons why Consumer Reports rated this two-phone set highly, and recommended it. It's a super value for the money. We're buying another set today, instead of getting one of those 5.8 gigahertz models that doesn't even sound as good as this. We had a choice of getting one of those 5.8 GHz phones with three extra handsets for nearly $400, or two of these dual-phone sets for under $100. Easy choice for us. Great value, free shipping, too.
Customer Review: Do you like static?
Well....... that's what you will get with this phone system. It's WAY too noisy!

GE 27907GE1 Dect 6.0 Cordless Phone for Mild Hearing Loss with Digital Answering System (White)
Customer Review: I regret the day I bought it
The phone itself is o.k. if G.E. happens to include all the parts in yours. The answering machine is low quality and cuts of the last few words. I called to get G.E. to send the missing part of the phone which was the belt clip. After being on hold and going through giving lots of information, they refused to help unless I mailed the phone back (which would leave me with no phone). It's pretty simple to mail me a belt clip but they wouldn't do it. They sugggested I drive to the nearest outlet (an hour away) and buy one. I regret ever buying this phone. The audio boost is just o.k. and isn't enough. I do love the Dect 6.00 technology. No interference and I can talk a long way from the base all the way over to my neighbor's house. Next time I'll buy a different brand and get the Dect 6.00
Customer Review: Best phone for dual needs (hearing and vision)
This 27907 phone set is the best I could find for my 91-yr-old mother, now technically challenged like many her age. It has been so successful that after a year with only the 27907, she ordered an accessory handset, so if she forgets to charge it there will be another ready and waiting, and so that an emergency phone can be put in the bathroom. One reviewer couldn't find an accessory handset; its model number is 27918, and amazon.com lists several. Nearly all the negative reviewers' issues are addressed by careful reading of the instruction booklet. It does have a lot of "bells and whistles" but Mother just disregards the unwanted ones. To avoid taking her hearing aid out, rather than putting the phone against her ear, she presses the speaker button when she answers instead of the talk button. (To disconnect, you press whichever one you last used; if you press the other it switches to that mode.) The 4 volume levels default to the last setting, and there is an additional white button against the dark handset color to boost the volume further; that this white button has to be pushed each time the phone is answered instead of defaulting to it is my only criticism. I have found that callers who are not clearly audible (1) have inferior handsets themselves, (2) are calling from remote mountain-locked areas, or (3) both. It is possible to make the phone announce aloud the numbers as you dial. The reason this review sounds like an instruction manual is that some of the reviewers objected to things that were in the booklet (available at www.thephoneresource.com if it's lost), and I believe these negative reviews have left an unjustifiably bad impression of a tool that has proven nearly ideal for an elderly person with handicapping hearing and vision problems. As hard as I searched before I bought this, I would have appreciated there being more positive ratings and detailed positive reviews; I bought 27907 with trepidation because of negative reviews, but the phone has been even better than I dared hope.

GE TL-96506 Cordless Phone Battery for AT&T, GE, Casio, Phonemate, V-Tech
Customer Review: They work fine.
They fit. They work. I don't know how long they will last, but for the price, I am satisfied. The shipping and handling cost more than the product and still cost a lot less than the prices locally.
Customer Review: Holds a charge
What can you say about a cordless phone battery? It fits my phone and holds a charge longer than the original battery.

Panasonic 5.8GHZ Cordless Phone Bundle
Customer Review: what happened to the price?
I bought this exact model number for $119 on Amazon in January 2007. I just looked up the order and this is the model I bought KX-TG5777PK. I just pasted that from my original order. It's selling for over $500 now? I must be seeing things. Update - I see the price is back now to where it should be. Love this phone.
Customer Review: Yes...but there are caveats
The Panasonic 5.8GHz gigarange phones have some compelling features but be aware of the shortcomings. + The range is quite good. These phones handle our challenging-for-wireless home and even provide coverage a good distance into the yard. + Sound quality is very good as well. No conflicts with our wireless network and any breakup in quality only becomes evident when you get to the limit of its range. + Controls are relatively well placed and intuitive. + Message storing capability gets a solid "C" grade. About the same as any other wireless phone/message machine. Then the disappointing news: - The usb connection simply does not work. On Vista or XP. The hacks/fixes suggested by others have not worked for me. Panasonic seems to have relegated the software/firmware for this product to the very back burner since no patches/fixes have been available since we purchased the phone nearly a year ago. Too bad too, because the notion of using the computer to sync the phonebook, download ringtones, etc is pretty compelling. Paired with the ability to sync directories from one phone to another, this would appear to solve a problem that vexes multiple wireless phones in every house - uploading and maintaining phone numbers. - The talking caller ID is laughable and useless. Probably half of the CID numbers that come through for us are not available or blocked (telemarketers) so you get a ring, then a pregnant pause and, "Call From...Number Unavailable" woo hoo. When you do get a productive CID the pronounciation is so bad that we just chuckle. It might as well say, "Call From...Unintelligible". - Ergonomically just ok. As others have pointed out, the joystick nub controls volume during a call. It's awkward to adjust without taking the handset completely away from your ear and staring at it. So, if, like us, you are considering this phone for the usb connectivity and the phone directory capabilities, you might give it another think. If you're primarily interested in good wireless coverage and voice quality, this is a decent choice. -j

Customer Review: The Best phone ever!
Just purchased this phone from Amazon for less than 45 bucks! I love the look and feel of this phone. It works everywhere in my home. I purchased the very same phone in white about a year ago for around 80 bucks. This is a steal! If the price comes up, grab it!

Customer Review: Bad Battery life
I paid around $100 to purchase one of this and battery went bad in 7/8 months and called uniden and they say batteries have three months warranty and i have to buy new one's out of my pocket. It's a shame that a product for such price has such a poor quality battery. I've seen lot of cheap product costs below $30 lasts more than 2 years. So why should someone pay such price and pay again for batteries so soon. I would say its a bad product. Not worth the money you pay. having some fancy feature does not make a product good if it does not server your basic purpose. Also there is no customer service number in their web page. Email does not guarantee any reasonable answer. I would say, stay away from Uniden product.
Customer Review: Beware
Phone works fine but one major flaw appears to be: There is a limit of 10 handsets that can be registered. Lets say you registered 10 hand sets and you lost couple of them.. you wont be able to reset the base unit to factory setting. The user manual does not show or talk about this limitation. I now have only 4 handsets at home, but over the past year registered over 10 handsets. So, now because of the limitation, I am unable to add any more handsets even though I have only 4 handsets active. There is no way to delete or remove registered handsets that were lost
